PHO LOVERS 1
About This Spot
PHO LOVERS 1 feels like a gentle invitation to slow down and savor the nuances of a beloved Vietnamese tradition. Nestled along the vibrant stretch of Bolsa Avenue, this spot unfolds with a warm, unpretentious rhythm that makes you feel instantly welcome whether you stop by early in the morning or later in the evening. The air carries the comforting scent of simmering broth and fresh herbs, setting a calm yet lively tone where conversations rise and fall naturally around steaming bowls.
This isn’t a place for rush or fanfare; it is a local favorite where the experience centers on thoughtful, satisfying simplicity. The room hums with quiet energy as diners dig into rich, aromatic bowls filled with tender slices of rare steak or hearty oxtail, herbs freshly picked, and noodles cooked just right. A small ritual unfolds at the table — adding a squeeze of lime, a handful of fragrant basil, or a dash of chili — linking you to a shared love for meals that feel both rooted and refreshing.
Beyond the pho, there’s comfort in choices that mirror warmth and care, from spring rolls with bright herbs to subtly spiced soups that gently surprise the palate. The mix of traditional flavors alongside a few modern touches means there’s a quiet joy in discovery here, inviting both longtime pho aficionados and newcomers to find their favorite bowl.
Service flows smoothly without fuss, aided by thoughtful touches that make the meal feel personal yet relaxed. The atmosphere is unpretentious and welcoming, where the focus is on the human moments — the shared warmth across tables, the steady clink of utensils, and the simple pleasure of a well-made cup of iced coffee melting into the afternoon.
PHO LOVERS 1 embodies the kind of neighborhood spot that celebrates everyday rituals through food, inviting you to linger, savor, and connect in an unhurried, friendly setting.

We were the first customers there in the morning. They have a large menu of pho and other options. I got the best seller (pho filet mignon) and it was pretty good. I’ve never seen filet mignon on pho before. My family enjoyed their pho as well. The broth was very good and so was the meat. The portions are big for a reasonable price and all the sauces and utensils are right in front of you for easy access. It was so clean. They had Vietnamese music playing. One thing to note is that this place is right next to the road so it is expected to hear car noises while eating.

Simply Delicious pho. Just minor change Pho xe lửa size to a little Bigger or instead of xe lửa change to Extra large.

Had the beef and brisket pho. It was my first time having it. The food was delicious. I also liked that the tables have call buttons for service. Great place.

Food/4. Service/5. Price/4. Soup is kinda dark and sweet for me. Some may enjoy that more.

Definitely the best pho in Bolsa. The restaurant is SUPER CLEAN. All the source bottles are clean with no residue. The service is fast and attentive. The food is amazing! Veggies are fresh and inviting. Everything tastes delicious. Don't go anywhere else.

Well tried 3 places and this is probably my overall pick. Broth was light, a bit oily, an has that aroma and pho flavor from the herbs. We ordered combo 13 and had plenty of meat. All places offer fresh noodle, which is not an option where we live. We tried Pho Kuroushi, meat had rhe best flavor, but broth was a little underwhelming. Pho Holic, broth was just too oily for us. Can’t go wrong with any, try all of them and see which matches your palate!!!

My go to for chicken pho. They have multiple locations in OC. Make sure to ask for fresh noodles.
